Natalie: "But I know it! Mom taught me!"

Alex: "This is taking forever!"

Me: "I know. The bank is busy today."

Alex, pointing at the teller: "What is that girl's name?"

Me: "Ummmm, I don't know."

Alex: "I do! It's LAZY BONES!"

Natalie: "Mom, why do those teenagers always hang around that picnic table?"

Me: "I don't know, maybe they're homeless." (I was kidding)

Natalie: Laughing, "Yeah! Maybe they are hobos!"

Kurt: "No, they're not hobos, they're bums."

Todd: "Dad, what's a bum?"

Kurt: "Someone who doesn't have a job and just sits around all day."

A moment of silence

Todd: With the wheels in his head turning, "Hey, Mom! You don't have a job...You're a BUTT!"

Natalie has enjoyed the opportunity of being a soloist with her choir on a few different occasions during this holiday performing season.

We are so proud of her for her hard work and talent!

Here is a video of Natalie's solo on the song Merry Christmas To You for the Lights On celebration at the Gateway.

Natalie also had the awesome opportunity to sing with LDS musician Wayne Burton at the FM100 Christmas Concert. She soloed with Wayne and Nicholas (a boy from her choir) on the song When Christmas Comes to Town. You can listen here.

One Voice Children's Choir has been an amazing experience for Natalie and for our family. We're looking forward to many more great performances!
