Farewell to the Zoo

Part two of our Memorial Day "extravaganza" was a final trip to the zoo. The Cheyenne Mountain Zoo is really amazing. We loved having a zoo membership...and believe me, we got plenty of mileage out of it. The kids never tired of visiting and they each had their favorites.
We had the zoo nearly to ourselves since it was late in the afternoon. We did the whole loop and really enjoyed the new Rocky Mountain Wild exhibit. The kids were saying goodbye to all their animal "friends". It made me feel a bit nostalgic...*sniff*. We'll always remember the fun times we had at the zoo!

There is a zoo here but not quite as nice as that one. I'm a little sad too wondering when we will get to go to your zoo again.

I can't believe you are headed back to utah. But that'll be nice to be close to family. That is definetly hard to be away from family. We'll be up in utah from the 12th to the 29th. Maybe we will see you while you're there. We'd love to see you guys.
