Me: "I don't know, maybe they're homeless." (I was kidding)

Kurt: "No, they're not hobos, they're bums."

Todd: "Dad, what's a bum?"

Kurt: "Someone who doesn't have a job and just sits around all day."

Todd: With the wheels in his head turning, "Hey, Mom! You don't have a job...You're a BUTT!"

...is the result of a tumble down the stairs while wearing a 'bug antenna' headband.

As Alex fell, the headband slipped and the little teeth raked across his cheek.

Owie, owie, ow!

Luckily, Alex is one tough kid. He only cried for a minute. Then he was very intrigued by examining his "luddy cheek" in the mirror. He sat on my lap for a long time while we iced it and then instructed me to "be very careshul" as I applied Neosporin.

Chalk up another one on the crash list!
